Shipping & Inclusion Instructions

Thank you for trusting Monadnock Perinatal to create your custom keepsake. Below you'll find everything you need to know about shipping your inclusions, turnaround times, and other important information.

Before You Ship
Please include a paper inside your package with:
Your full name
Your order number
Please ship all packages with tracking. Tracking allows both you and us to monitor your package and helps ensure your precious inclusions arrive safely.

Turnaround Time
Our current turnaround time is 8-10 weeks from the date your inclusions are received, but often sooner!
Please note that turnaround times may vary slightly depending on order volume. If there is ever a delay, we will keep you updated throughout the process.
Breast Milk Instructions
Amount Needed
Jewelry: Approximately ½ ounce (15 mL) of breast milk
Fresh, refrigerated, frozen, or even expired milk can all be used. We recommend freezing your milk before shipping whenever possible.
Packaging & Shipping
Place your breast milk in a sealed milk storage bag.
Place that bag inside two additional zip-top bags (triple bagged) to help prevent leaks.
If sending additional inclusions (hair, flowers, ashes, etc.), package them separately.
Place everything inside a small box or padded bubble mailer.
Include your name and order number.
Ship with tracking.
Once your package has been shipped, please email or message us with your tracking number so we know to watch for its arrival.
You will receive confirmation as soon as your package has been safely received.
Ashes (Cremains)
Amount Needed
Approximately 1 teaspoon
Packaging
Place ashes inside two sealed zip-top bags or another secure leak-proof container.
Package carefully in a padded mailer or small box.
Include your name and order number.
Ship with tracking.
Other Inclusions
We are happy to incorporate many meaningful inclusions into your keepsake.
Hair
Approximately 5-10 strands
Dried or Preserved Flowers
Please ensure flowers are completely dried before shipping to prevent mold.
2-3 small petals are typically sufficient.
Fabric
Approximately 1" × 1" piece
If you'd like a specific section used, please make a note.
Umbilical Cord
A small, completely dried piece is all that is needed.
Placenta
If using encapsulated placenta powder or another preserved portion, please contact us for specific shipping instructions before mailing.
IVF Materials, Pregnancy Tests & Other Keepsakes
If you're unsure how much to send, simply reach out before shipping and we'll gladly guide you.
Packaging
Place each inclusion in its own labeled zip-top bag.
Include your name and order number.
Ship with tracking.
If you are not shipping Inclusions
If your keepsake does not require an inclusion, your turnaround time begins once your order has been placed and payment has been received.
Important Information
We are not responsible for packages lost or delayed by the shipping carrier.
Please keep a small portion of sentimental inclusions (especially breast milk or ashes) whenever possible in the unlikely event a package is lost in transit.
We will notify you when your inclusions arrive safely.
You'll receive updates as your keepsake progresses through production and again when it ships back to you.
Because every keepsake is handcrafted, slight variations in color, shimmer, or placement of inclusions make every piece beautifully unique.
Orders may be canceled within 24 hours for a full refund.
Cancellations made within 5 days are subject to a 20% cancellation fee.
After five days, orders cannot be canceled because materials and settings have already been reserved or customized.
Changes to an order after five days may incur a $25 modification fee.
